COMMISSIONING A PAINTING.
If you would like to commission a painting please contact me and tell me your ideas. If the subject you are after is not shown on the website.. ask anyway. New subjects are always exciting and if the photographs are good then the painting will be too.

HOW IT'S DONE..!
To get the best results I like to meet up with the subject. A face to face meeting is always the most satisfactory way of getting to know and understand a subject whether it is a person, a boat or an island in the Caribbean. It puts it all in context and gives me the best chance of producing an excellent result. Either I can travel to meet you or if you feel like a holiday and it is practical, you could visit me here in Cowes. I then take endless photographs and select the ones I think would make the best painting. Ultimately you decide which one I use for the final picture. All painting is done in my studio and when it's finished I have it framed and delivered.. unless you liked Cowes so much that you decide to collect.

I am very happy to work from clients own photos but to produce the best results they need to be good, clear photographs rather than snapshots.
